David Hockney Collages

The Cubist period occurred between the years of 1907 to 1914. Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque were credited with this style. The aspects are flat two-dimensional surface of the picture plane leaving out traditional techniques of perspective. They were not also bound to copying form and texture.

David Hockney is a British painter, photographer, and designer. He has done painting of portraits, collages, and photography. I noticed that he used a lot of squares in his art and straight and jagged lines. He might have been influenced by artists before him such as Picasso.
