The assignments I were most proud of was the Hobbies and the Creative Portrait assignments. I was proud of the Hobbies assignment because it got to capture who I am and describe it to the viewer the way I look at myself. I was proud of the Creative Portrait assignment because I think I got some really nice and beautiful pictures. These assignments really helped the way I look at people and objects. They impacted my learning by learning how to capture a good image and how to get different perspectives on an image. These were also some of the most fun and enjoyable assignments.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059725745369743403.post-75527798649353186822014-01-23T08:40:00.000-08:002014-01-23T08:40:49.998-08:00Most Memorable ExperiencesI have many memorable experiences from this past semester of Photo 1. One of my most memorable experiences was when I went to the Cumberland County Fair and got to capture the theme of the fair and got to experience everything through each photo I took. Another memorable experience was when I took the creative portraits assignment, it was fun because I got to include some people that were special to me and got to do it in a creative. A final memorable experience was when I got to do the Culture Clash Project and I got to play around with photoshop and have fun. I think that these were the most entertaining and memorable assignments that I did.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059725745369743403.post-53638915452363063042014-01-16T09:19:00.000-08:002014-01-21T08:25:00.959-08:00Who Am I?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059725745369743403.post-32461960765870030852014-01-09T16:08:00.001-08:002014-01-10T08:32:40.005-08:00Who Am I?I am a fisherman, I am a gamer, I am a music-lover, I am a good friend who anyone who wants to be my friend. Music is a big part of my life and has been since I was very young. I always listened to music or listened to something because I cannot take a completely quiet room. It annoys me. Music really describes my mood and personality. Music can make me change my mood in an instant. It would be like giving a kid their favorite candy bar, or in another case it could be like taking a chocolate bar away from the kid and pushing him to the ground. I myself could never live without music. I hold it as close to me as I do my close friends.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059725745369743403.post-80930852469071548592014-01-08T08:56:00.003-08:002014-01-08T08:56:54.648-08:00Pollution in China
One thing I found challenging was figuring out what I should put in terms of the layering. Another thing I found challenging was determining how to put the skyscraper in the background and have it not seem up close. I dealt with these difficulties by asking for help and then playing around with different tools.

I was thinking that I need to get a up close blurred background. This time I needed some perspective. So I ended up taking a photo from the back that gave some depth. Shoot from above looking down, or shoot from the ground looking up. It will create interest in the photo.

Play with eye contact: Change the way someone is looking in the photo instead of looking at the lens. Have the subject look away and look some place outside of the frame. You can also have the subject look at something in the frame and have the focus be the person and what the person is looking at.

Break rules of composition: You can break some rules of composition very easily. One of the rules you can easily break it the rule of thirds. You can also break the rule of giving your subject room to look into.

Experiment with lighting: You can change the way you introduce lighting into your portrait. You can have side lighting which can create a mood. You can also use slow synch flash that freezes lighting and gives a wow factor.

Focus on a body part - get up close: You need to get up close and focus on one body part. Focus on something specific like eyes, nose, mouth, hands, lower body.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059725745369743403.post-47104263171289870042013-09-23T09:04:00.002-07:002013-09-23T09:04:38.840-07:00Signs of Fall

This image shows signs of fall because the petals on the flower that is focused are dying along with the flower to the back and to the right of the flower itself. This photo I thought came out really well. It also did really well with blurred background.
This picture shows the compositional strategy leading lines. All of these lines lead towards the back of the photo. This was of a tin roof with pine needles and dirt on it, but was still wet because it had rained the night before.
